The Story Of A Couple of Girl Dads Going Above And Beyond For Their Daughters…
Jimmy Timmins and Phil Santiago began as co-workers but quickly became friends, and have spent over two decades watching one another’s families grow. As two “girl dads” they know firsthand that there’s nothing a father won’t do for their daughters, especially when it comes to their weddings. Together, these dads used their creative tech skills to build an app that helps couples everywhere “feel the love” on their special day, regardless of who can travel or attend the event.
It all started when Jimmy’s daughter Molly got engaged during the pandemic, he was put in charge of organizing a wedding shower/engagement party as it was a chance to get the two families who were dispersed across the US together to meet up before the big day. Jimmy recruited Phil for help, looking for that extra something special to make the day even sweeter. Together, they created a video of the couple with all the guest’s wisdom and advice, and while the concept was perfect, getting everyone to submit high-quality videos was a challenge…
